UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed invites Syria’s President al-Sharaa to UN water conference
Syria’s President Ahmed al-Sharaa was invited by UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed to the United Nations Water Conference, which will be held in Abu Dhabi from December 8 to 10, 2026. The invitation was conveyed by Hamad Rashid bin Alwan al-Habsi, the UAE’s ambassador to Damascus, to Mohamed Taha al-Ahmed, an adviser on Arab affairs at Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
