Smotrich on southern Lebanon: “They have nowhere to return”
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said in a circulating video that Israel’s “thorough cleanup” in southern Lebanon “has no equal.”
“The thorough cleanup above and below ground that we are doing now in southern Lebanon, to a very great depth, has no equal, and it will affect the security of the northern residents for decades,” Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said in a video circulated on Monday. “They have nowhere to return, they have nowhere to return, look at how it looks. And by the way, the world is not stopping us.”
In the same remarks he said things could turn out “to the point where Gaza is ours in the end,” adding: “I tell you the same thing about Lebanon.” The date and venue of the remarks are not shown in the video.
