Syria and the UAE sign agreements for projects in Damascus and Latakia
Syria and the United Arab Emirates signed framework agreements in housing construction and tourism. The agreements provide for the development of urban and tourism complexes in Damascus and Latakia.
Syria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed a framework agreement covering cooperation in housing construction and tourism.
The agreement includes the development and construction of urban and tourism complexes under the "Investing in Syria and Launched Projects" program.
Project agreements signed in Damascus and Latakia
The parties also signed agreements for the "Tilal Sham" project to be implemented in Damascus and the "Latakia Yacht Port and Marina" project to be carried out in Latakia.
Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa hosted the meeting at the People's Palace in the capital, Damascus, where the agreements were signed. The meeting with the UAE delegation was attended by Syrian Information Minister Khalid Zarrur, Tourism Minister Mazen Salhani, Housing and Urban Development Minister Mustafa Abdulrazzaq, and Latakia Governor Ahmed Mustafa.
Damascus Governor Mahir Marwan Idlibi and Damascus Countryside Governor Emir al-Sheikh also attended the meeting.
