Syria's internal security forces, affiliated with the Interior Ministry, announced the capture of Jamal Trablusi, deputy to Ali Kayali, also known as Mihrac Ural.
Trablusi was captured in an operation conducted by the Interior Ministry's Counterterrorism Administration. The ministry also released a photograph showing Trablusi alongside Ali Kayali. It described Trablusi as one of the leaders of the militia structure led by Kayali and known as the "Syrian Resistance."

Operations in Bayda and Banyas
The internal security forces said Trablusi took part in operations in Bayda and Banyas in 2013 alongside militias supporting Bashar al-Assad's regime. The statement also said that Trablusi participated in battles in the countryside of Hama, Idlib and Aleppo during the conflict in Syria.

At least 150 people were killed in the Bayda massacre in the city of Banyas, while Ali Kayali was known as the "Butcher of Banyas" because of his connection to the incident.

Allegations against Kayali
Ali Kayali is accused of involvement in the twin bombing in Hatay's Reyhanlı district in 2013, in which 52 people were killed. He is also alleged to have been involved in massacres targeting civilians while leading certain militia groups affiliated with Assad's regime.
