Turkish Defense Minister Güler meets Qatar's Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman in Doha
Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, visiting Qatar, met Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani after being welcomed with a military ceremony at the Qatari Defense Ministry.
Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, who is visiting Qatar, met Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Turkish Defense Ministry said on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
Güler was welcomed with a military ceremony on his arrival at the Qatari Defense Ministry, and the two ministers held talks after the ceremony, the ministry said. It did not say what was discussed.
Turkish and Pakistani media, citing officials, have reported that a memorandum of understanding on defense industry cooperation between Türkiye, Qatar, Pakistan and Indonesia is expected to be signed in Qatar during the visit.
