Turkish envoy in Damascus hosts Imam Hatip alumni foundation delegation
Türkiye’s Ambassador to Syria Nuh Yılmaz received a delegation from the Türkiye Imam Hatip Alumni Foundation (TİMAV) led by its chairman Sami Bayrakcı, discussing cooperation between the two countries in education, science and culture.

According to the Turkish Embassy in Damascus, the two sides exchanged views on cooperation between Türkiye and Syria in education, science and culture, and the ambassador was briefed on the foundation’s projects for Syria.
Alumni of Imam Hatip schools
TİMAV brings together graduates of Imam Hatip schools, public secondary schools in Türkiye that combine the general curriculum with religious education. The embassy did not give details of the projects the foundation plans to carry out in Syria.
