Türkiye-Sudan Business Council discusses Port Sudan trade fair
The Türkiye-Sudan Business Council, affiliated with Türkiye's Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), discussed investment and cooperation opportunities with Sudanese Minister of Industry and Trade Mohasen Ali Yacoub, as well as organizing a Türkiye-Sudan trade fair in Port Sudan in January.
The Türkiye-Sudan Business Council, affiliated with Türkiye's Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) and chaired by Ahmet Demirci, held a meeting with Sudanese Minister of Industry and Trade Mohasen Ali Yacoub on the sidelines of the 42nd ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) in Istanbul.
The meeting addressed investment and cooperation opportunities, particularly in priority sectors, as well as ways to increase trade between the two countries.
The two sides also discussed the Business Council's plans for activities in the coming period, reciprocal delegation visits, and holding the Türkiye-Sudan trade fair scheduled for January in Port Sudan.
