The Palestinian Prisoners' Information Office stated that the detentions took place during large-scale raids and searches. The office noted that those arrested included previously released prisoners and young people, that homes were forcibly entered and searched and property damaged, and that some individuals were interrogated in the field.
The operations were most intense in the Hebron governorate, where 13 Palestinians were taken into custody in the town of Beit Ummar. Other detentions occurred in Bethlehem, Qalqilya, Tubas, Tulkarm, and occupied Jerusalem.
The Israeli military has not yet issued a statement on the matter.
