Türkiye’s ambassador in Mogadishu visits Somalia’s Senate president
Türkiye’s ambassador to Somalia, Ferhat Alkan, paid a courtesy visit to Somali Senate President Abdi Hashi Abdullahi. They discussed Turkish-Somali friendship, joint development projects and parliamentary cooperation, and toured the Senate building rebuilt by Türkiye.
Türkiye’s ambassador to Somalia, Ferhat Alkan, paid a courtesy visit to Somali Senate President Abdi Hashi Abdullahi in Mogadishu on Oct. 21, the Turkish Embassy said.
The meeting covered Turkish-Somali friendship, humanitarian ties between the two peoples, joint development projects and cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments.
Ambassador Alkan also toured the Senate building, which Türkiye rebuilt and equipped and which opened in 2017. The embassy thanked the Senate president for his hospitality.
