Türkiye's ambassador in Mogadishu discusses fisheries cooperation
Türkiye's ambassador to Somalia, Ferhat Alkan, discussed cooperation projects to develop the country's fisheries sector with Somali Minister of Fisheries and Blue Economy Ahmed Hassan Adam.
Türkiye's ambassador to Somalia, Ferhat Alkan, paid a courtesy visit to Somali Minister of Fisheries and Blue Economy Ahmed Hassan Adam in the capital, Mogadishu, the Turkish Embassy announced.
The meeting addressed a wide range of cooperation projects aimed at strengthening Somalia's fisheries sector, including licensing, fisheries infrastructure development, sustainable fishing, combating illegal fishing and sectoral training.
The embassy said Türkiye would continue supporting Somalia's vision in the fields of fisheries and the blue economy.
