Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Col. Majid Abdullah al-Nazili said government forces had carried out more than 2,750 attacks over the past 24 hours on fronts in various provinces as part of operations against the Houthis amid the conflict in Yemen.
Al-Nazili said the operations targeted Houthi defensive positions, forward observation and reconnaissance posts, artillery positions, weapons and ammunition depots, supply points and military reinforcement units.
The Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman claimed that more than 1,400 Houthis had been killed in the attacks and that more than 250 military vehicles and pieces of equipment had been destroyed. Al-Nazili also said that some new areas had been brought under control during the operations.

Claim of strikes on Sana’a and the airport
A Houthi-affiliated television channel claimed that Saudi Arabia had carried out airstrikes on the capital, Sana’a, and several other areas. The channel also claimed that Sana’a International Airport, which is controlled by the Houthis, had been targeted and that two people were killed and two others injured in the strikes.
The same channel said Saudi warplanes bombed several areas of Sana’a last night. It said fires that broke out after the strikes had been extinguished.
