An Israeli airstrike on the town of Haddatha in the Bint Jbeil district on Wednesday injured two people, including a 4-year-old child.
Lebanon's official news agency said that, following the attack, the towns of Mansouri and Majdal Zoun came under Israeli artillery fire. The Beit al-Sayyad area was also targeted with machine-gun fire.
Firefights expand in southern Lebanon
Israeli artillery fire targeted areas around the towns of Haddatha and Barashit, as well as other locations in the Bint Jbeil district.

The attacks took place as part of Israel's military operations against Lebanon, which began on March 2. According to the latest figures from Lebanon's Health Ministry, 4,386 people have been killed and 12,413 injured in the operations.

Attacks continue despite framework agreement
Lebanon and Israel signed a U.S.-mediated framework agreement in Washington on June 26. The agreement calls for the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanese territory and the deployment of the Lebanese army in the areas vacated.
Israeli forces have continued their attacks in Lebanon despite the agreement and have retained control over parts of the country. These areas include territories held for a long time, as well as locations seized during more recent military operations.
