Ansar Allah political bureau member Dayfullah al-Shami announced in a statement to Al-Mayadeen television that they have launched a comprehensive campaign to break Saudi Arabia's blockade on Yemen. Shami said, "We have announced the operation to break the blockade, and we are ready to escalate to any necessary level in this conflict."
Another Ansar Allah political bureau member, Muhammad al-Bukhaiti, however, denied accusations that Saudi Arabia violated Yemeni airspace and bombed Sanaa International Airport. Al-Bukhaiti said that any violation of Yemeni sovereignty will not exempt Saudi Arabia from punishment.
Al-Bukhaiti used the expression, "Our weapons will never be pointed at internal opponents; they are reserved only for the Saudi enemy." It was stated that Yemeni forces recently struck Saudi oil facilities and shot down enemy drones violating the airspace.
Dayfullah al-Shami alleged that Riyadh is trying to establish guardianship over millions of Yemenis who reject foreign intervention. Shami also added that they welcome Jordan's initiative to launch direct flights to Yemen and are open to other constructive initiatives that facilitate the movement of Yemeni citizens.
