Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said the place of war criminals facing arrest warrants from the International Criminal Court is not the United Nations podium but the courtrooms where they will answer for the murders they committed and the blood they shed. “Those days will surely come,” he said.
Erdoğan spoke on the closing day of the MÜSİAD EXPO International Trade Fair and 29th International Business Forum at the Istanbul Expo Center.
He said that although the “genocidal killers” who had killed tens of thousands of innocents in Gaza and Lebanon were disturbed by Türkiye confronting them with the truth, “we once again voiced what is right,” and vowed to unmask what he called the occupying Zionist mindset.
The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in November 2024. Netanyahu addressed the UN General Assembly this week.
