Kurtdere plateau in Türkiye’s Black Sea region became a magnet for Mohamed Salah fans after a photo of the Egyptian star sitting on a rock there spread online, with visitors flocking to take pictures at the same spot.
The Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality placed a bench and a “Salah Yaylası” sign next to the rock, saying: “We were saddened to see people standing… We thought it would be nicer this way for Salah’s rock.” But the bench and sign were stolen by unknown persons.
Locals responded by making a handmade sign reading “Muhamet Salah Taşı” and putting it up by the rock, saying they would install a camera to prevent another theft.
