Houthis announce targeting Najran, Abha airports and King Khalid Air Base
The Houthi group announced that it had targeted Najran Airport, King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait and Abha International Airport in southern Saudi Arabia. Saudi authorities have not commented on the claims.
Yahya Saree, the military spokesman for the Houthi group, announced in two separate statements that Najran Airport, King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait and Abha International Airport in southern Saudi Arabia had been targeted.
Saree said the group had “successfully targeted two military transport aircraft with two ballistic missiles,” claiming that the attack on Abha Airport disrupted air traffic there.
Saudi authorities have not commented on the claims so far. Earlier, the Saudi-led coalition announced that it had intercepted three ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis toward the Eastern Province.
