Tehran Prosecutor General Ali Salehi announced that 2,191 bank accounts belonging to 394 people had been frozen in Iran and that 37 vehicles had been seized.
The measures targeted people alleged to have ties to Israel and enemy states, as well as people accused of belonging to “counter-revolutionary elements.”
As part of the measures, the individuals’ bank accounts were blocked and their vehicles seized.
The measures were carried out as part of enforcing the law on protecting public rights and toughening penalties for espionage and cooperation with Israel.
