After the US military announced it had launched a new wave of airstrikes on Iran, a stern warning came from Iran. Iranian military officials declared that in response to the US threat to attack civilian targets, all infrastructure in the region would be crushed with 'steel strikes'.
Iranian media reported that following the US strikes, explosions occurred on Qeshm Island and in the cities of Bandar Abbas and Chabahar in the south of the country.
