A senior official from the naval forces of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps made a significant announcement regarding maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz. The official reported that ship transits through the strait have been completely halted and that traffic is currently at zero.
Referring to US activities in the region, the source said, "As long as the US's hostile actions and mischief continue, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed and no permission will be granted for ship transits." It was emphasized that these restrictions will remain in effect until conditions change.
The Iranian source warned that any attempt to cross the strait, especially by violating ships, would be met with a response from the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The statement also claimed that in recent days, several ships attempting to cross the strait with the support of the US military were stopped by Iranian Armed Forces.
It was once again confirmed that under current conditions, traffic in the Strait of Hormuz has been reduced to zero and that this strategic waterway will remain closed as long as the US stance does not change.
