New figures on casualties from Israeli army attacks in Gaza have been released. The Health Ministry in Hamas-run Gaza announced that 12 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours.
According to a written statement from the ministry, 12 people were also wounded in the same period. One of the 12 bodies brought to hospitals had died from injuries sustained in earlier attacks, it said. The wounded were receiving treatment, the statement added.
The Gaza Health Ministry said that since a ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 1,180 people, wounded 3,810, and 802 bodies have been recovered from the rubble.
The ministry reported that the total death toll from Israeli military operations since October 2023 has reached 73,305, with 173,918 wounded.
The statement stressed that many dead and wounded remain under the rubble of destroyed buildings and on the roads, but ambulance and civil defense teams cannot reach them due to a lack of resources and equipment.
