Israeli airstrikes, artillery shelling and demolitions took place in southern Lebanon on Friday. Military vehicles were reported to be advancing toward the outskirts of the border town of Kfarchouba.
Targets of the attacks in southern Lebanon
Israeli warplanes struck the town of Mansouri in the Tyre district. The area around Bint Jbeil as well as the Srebbin and Zibqin valleys came under artillery fire.
Valleys and wooded areas in the Srebbin area came under heavy fire. Two large explosions occurred simultaneously near a school in Kfar Tebnit in the Nabatieh district and in Zawtar al-Sharqiya, in the direction of Nabatieh al-Fawqa.

The Jarmaq area in the Jezzine district and the surroundings of Kfarchouba were also targeted by Israeli artillery fire.
Movements around Kfarchouba and Khiam
An Israeli military bulldozer advanced toward the southern outskirts of Kfarchouba, escorted by two tanks and numerous military vehicles.
In a separate incident, an Israeli drone dropped a stun grenade near Khiam. According to initial information, no casualties or damage were reported.
4,389 people killed in Lebanon
According to official figures released by the Lebanese government on Monday, 4,389 people have lost their lives and 12,424 have been injured in Israeli attacks since March 2.

Attacks continue despite June 26 agreement
The Israeli attacks have continued despite the US-brokered framework agreement signed between Beirut and Tel Aviv on June 26. The agreement provides for the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanese territory and the deployment of the Lebanese army in the area.
Despite the agreement, the Israeli army continues its attacks on southern Lebanon while maintaining its presence in Lebanese areas, some of which it has controlled for decades and others it seized during recent wars and military operations.
