Attacks in southern Lebanon
Since the evening, the Israeli army has targeted the towns of Mansouri and Hadatha in southern Lebanon, as well as the area between the Ali al-Taher and Debsheh hills, with airstrikes and artillery fire.
The attacks also extended to the area between the towns of Mayfadoun and Deir al-Zahrani and to Wadi al-Izziyeh.
Framework agreement after the ceasefire
On March 2, the Israeli army launched intensive airstrikes on Lebanon and carried out occupation operations in dozens of towns in the country’s south. The Lebanese government said more than 1 million people had been displaced during this period.
The ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel, which took effect on April 17, was later extended several times. Following the fifth round of direct talks held in Washington, the two sides signed a framework agreement on June 26.
