Pro-Palestinian demonstrations continued with sit-ins at train stations in several Dutch cities. The protests, held in cities including Utrecht, Amsterdam and Rotterdam, opposed the military operations in Gaza.
Protesters gathered at Utrecht Central Station carrying Palestinian flags and called for an end to Israel’s military operations in Gaza. They also criticized the Dutch government for supporting Israel.
Speakers at the protest argued that the genocide in Gaza had been continuing for three years and accused the international legal system of failing to take action. The placards carried by demonstrators read, “Stop the genocide,” “End the Netherlands’ complicity, justice now” and “Free Palestine.”

During the action, demonstrators also chanted, “Save Gaza now, stop the killings in Gaza.” They chanted, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” and “Stop the genocide.”
Following the sit-in in Utrecht, a march was held through the city center and the Hoog Catharijne shopping center. The protest ended there after the march, while similar actions were held simultaneously at train stations in other Dutch cities.
As part of pro-Palestinian events, new demonstrations, sit-ins and marches are planned in many Dutch cities on Thursday evening.
