Saudi authorities issued alerts over a potential danger in Riyadh, Al-Kharj governorate and Najran on Thursday evening, urging residents to move to the nearest safe place.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense later announced that the danger had passed in Najran, followed by Riyadh and Al-Kharj governorate. It urged residents to continue following its instructions, avoid gatherings and refrain completely from filming, and call the emergency number when necessary.
The Interior Ministry warned that filming, publishing or circulating any information related to intercepting missiles and drones or the sites where they fell could expose those responsible to legal accountability.

Residents in Riyadh reported hearing explosions, while no official statements had been issued so far on the source of the attack or whether there had been any damage or injuries.
On October 27, Saudi air defenses intercepted two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi group at Riyadh. The group announced on the same day that it had targeted Najran and Abha airports and King Khalid Air Base.
