The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) improved the facilities of Al-Mashhour Primary and Secondary School in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu, where 510 students study.
The project included renovating desks and chairs and carrying out work to improve hygiene conditions at the school.

The agency says it continues to expand educational opportunities for children around the world through projects to develop educational infrastructure. Somalia is one of the main countries where Turkish institutions operate in education and healthcare.
