Speaking about the health of Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that Khamenei is alive but has severe injuries on the left side of his body.
In remarks to political commentator Glenn Beck, Trump said that the left side of Khamenei’s body, including his arm and leg, had been seriously injured.
Questioning the Iranian government’s statement that it was in regular contact with Khamenei, Trump argued that if Khamenei had died, the claim would have created a successful public impression. Trump also predicted that the war with Iran would end very soon.
The U.S. president also repeated his claim that the Strait of Hormuz had reopened. He said that 10 million barrels of oil passed through the strategic waterway on Tuesday and that 22 ships moved through safely overnight.
Trump said that they had won a victory in Venezuela and would achieve a major victory on Iran shortly.
