Turkish-Iraqi Business Council meets Mosul business leaders at trade chamber
Turkish-Iraqi Business Council Chairman Khalid Acar and his accompanying delegation met with Mosul business leaders at the Mosul Chamber of Commerce to discuss trade and investment opportunities in the city.
Khalid Acar, chairman of the Turkish-Iraqi Business Council under Türkiye's Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), and his accompanying delegation of Turkish businesspeople met with Mosul business leaders at the Mosul Chamber of Commerce.
The two sides discussed trade and investment opportunities in Mosul, the Turkish Consulate General in the city announced.
Delegation tour includes several Iraqi cities
The Mosul stop was part of a tour of Iraq by the Business Council delegation, which also included Erbil, Kirkuk and the capital Baghdad, where the delegation met with the Iraqi transport minister.
Mosul is one of Iraq's largest cities and has seen reconstruction efforts since its liberation from the Islamic State group in 2017.
