Türkiye is the only country to recognize Northern Cyprus
Türkiye is the only country to recognize the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which was declared in 1983.
The United Arab Emirates is home to a large Turkish community, most of whose members live in Dubai and are served by Türkiye's Consulate General in the city.
