Türkiye's Embassy in Riyadh celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye with a reception hosted by Türkiye's ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Professor Dr. Omerullah İşler. The guest of honor was Riyadh Deputy Governor Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Saudi officials, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom and Turkish citizens residing in Saudi Arabia attended the reception.

The embassy said: “We enthusiastically celebrated the 103rd anniversary of our Republic at the reception hosted by our ambassador, together with our guest of honor, Riyadh Deputy Governor Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, our Saudi friends, the diplomatic corps and our citizens.”
Ambassador İşler and the Riyadh deputy governor cut a celebration cake decorated with the Turkish and Saudi flags and the number 103.

The celebration comes as Turkish-Saudi relations continue to draw closer. The Foreign Affairs Committee of the Turkish Parliament recently approved the Mecca Agreement on joint defense between Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
