Turkish pianist Rüya Taner to perform at Katara Opera House
Turkish pianist Rüya Taner will perform a solo concert titled “Fresh Waters of Asia,” inspired by the Silk Road, at the Katara Opera House in Doha on November 2, 2026, in cooperation with the Turkish Embassy in Qatar.
The Katara Cultural Village Foundation, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in the State of Qatar, is organizing a concert by Turkish pianist Rüya Taner titled “Fresh Waters of Asia.”
The concert will take place at the Katara Opera House on November 2, 2026, at 7 p.m. The Turkish Embassy invited all Turkish citizens to attend the evening, with advance registration through a QR code.
An evening inspired by the Silk Road
Taner will present a solo program inspired by the Silk Road. Born in Nicosia, Taner is considered one of the leading Turkish pianists and has performed in numerous countries around the world.
Katara Cultural Village in Doha includes an opera house, theaters and exhibition halls, and hosts Arab and international cultural and artistic events throughout the year.
