Türkiye's ambassador in Baghdad meets Iraq's deputy PM and two ministers
Türkiye's ambassador in Baghdad held a series of meetings with members of the Iraqi government, including Deputy Prime Minister Mohsen al-Mandalawi, Education Minister Abdul Karim Abtan and Interior Minister Yasser al-Maliki. The talks covered energy issues and matters on the bilateral agenda.
Türkiye's ambassador in Baghdad visited Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Mohsen al-Mandalawi and congratulated him, wishing him success in his new post. The Turkish Embassy in Baghdad said the meeting, held on Wednesday, also addressed matters on the two countries' joint energy agenda.
Meetings with the education and interior ministers
On the same day, the ambassador met Iraqi Education Minister Abdul Karim Abtan and discussed matters on the agenda with him. On Tuesday, the ambassador had visited Iraqi Interior Minister Yasser al-Maliki, wishing him success in his new post, and the two exchanged views on issues on the bilateral agenda.
The meetings are part of a series of visits by Türkiye's ambassador to members of the Iraqi government, which the embassy published on its social media accounts in Turkish and Arabic.
