Türkiye's ambassador in Mogadishu discusses projects with Somali prime minister
Türkiye's ambassador to Somalia, Ferhat Alkan, paid a courtesy visit to Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, discussing cooperation projects between the two countries in energy, infrastructure, fisheries, security, health, education, space, transport and communications.
Türkiye's ambassador to Somalia, Ferhat Alkan, paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Hamza Abdi Barre in the capital Mogadishu, the Turkish Embassy announced.
During the meeting, both sides affirmed their shared desire to continue strengthening the longstanding historical relations between Türkiye and Somalia, as well as the bonds of friendship between their peoples.
The meeting addressed ongoing cooperation projects between the two countries in energy, economic infrastructure, fisheries, security, health, education, space, transport and communications.
The embassy thanked the Somali prime minister for his warm welcome, fruitful talks and support for Türkiye-Somalia friendship.
