Türkiye's ambassador in Damascus discusses Syria, region with Al Jazeera chief

Türkiye's ambassador to Syria, Dr. Nuh Yılmaz, hosted Al Jazeera bureau chief Mohammed Kanas and the channel's correspondent Omar al-Hajj at the embassy in Damascus. They exchanged views on developments in Syria and the region.

Türkiye's ambassador to Syria, Dr. Nuh Yılmaz, hosted Al Jazeera's bureau chief in the Syrian capital, Mohammed Kanas, and the channel's correspondent, Omar al-Hajj, at the Turkish Embassy in Damascus for a courtesy visit, the embassy announced through its social media accounts in Turkish and Arabic.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on Al Jazeera's activities and developments related to Syria and the region. Since taking up his post in Damascus, Ambassador Yılmaz has continued a series of meetings with representatives of Syrian society, businesspeople and media outlets as part of Türkiye's support for stability and reconstruction in Syria.
