Türkiye's defense minister and defense chief visit embassy in Doha

Türkiye's Defense Minister Yaşar Güler and Defense Industries President Haluk Görgün visited the Turkish Embassy in Doha during their official visit to Qatar, where the four-party Badr memorandum of understanding on defense cooperation was signed.

During the visit, the defense ministries of Türkiye, Qatar, Indonesia and Pakistan signed the multilateral Badr memorandum of understanding in Doha on Wednesday. The memorandum aims to promote cooperation among the four countries in military production and the development of defense capabilities, as well as technical military training and research and development.

During the visit, Güler also met with Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
