Türkiye's Doha ambassador receives anti-narcotics police delegation

Türkiye's ambassador to Qatar, Yakup Ceymazoğlu, received a delegation from the Presidency for Combating Narcotic Crimes under Türkiye's General Directorate of Security, which is visiting Doha as part of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Türkiye's ambassador to the State of Qatar, Yakup Ceymazoğlu, received at his office in Doha a delegation from the Presidency for Combating Narcotic Crimes under Türkiye's General Directorate of Security. The delegation is visiting Qatar as part of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, the Turkish Embassy announced in Turkish and Arabic.

The visit comes amid growing security cooperation between Ankara and Doha, which share a strategic partnership spanning defence, security and economic fields. It coincided with the visit to Ankara by Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, who met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
