Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hosted an official dinner at the Presidential Complex in Ankara on the evening of Oct. 29 in honor of the leaders of the Organization of Turkic States attending the organization’s 13th summit, coinciding with the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.
In his address, Erdogan said: “I wholeheartedly believe that, as the Turkic world, we will move together toward our future in full solidarity, mutual respect and brotherhood, and, God willing, we will strive to make the next era a Turkish century.”

He added that the Republic of Türkiye, “the shared work and shared heritage of 86 million people,” continues to move “from success to success” thanks to its major achievements in all fields, describing the Organization of Turkic States as the “family council.”
The dinner was attended by Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov, Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Tufan Erhürman. Azerbaijan was represented by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, as President Ilham Aliyev was absent from the summit.
During the evening, Erdogan awarded Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov the “Supreme Order of the Turkic World.” The 2026 Ali-Shir Nava’i International Award was also presented to former TURKSOY Secretary-General Dussen Kaseinov.

Before the dinner, the leaders inaugurated the “Garden of Civilizations of the Turkic States” at the Presidential Complex. They arrived in Turkish-made Togg vehicles, planted saplings and took commemorative photos in front of models of the Orkhon inscriptions, while the Turkish Stars aerobatic team performed a display over the venue.
The leaders’ session of the summit will be held in Ankara on Oct. 30.
