Türkiye's Somalia ambassador discusses aid group's work in Somalia
Türkiye's ambassador to Somalia, Ferhat Alkan, met a delegation from the Hırat Turkish Humanitarian Aid Association led by its deputy chairman, Abdullah Ay, and discussed the association's activities in Somalia.
Türkiye's ambassador to Somalia, Ferhat Alkan, and the embassy's religious affairs adviser, Omar Faruk Arslan, received a delegation from the Hırat Turkish Humanitarian Aid Association led by the association's deputy chairman, Abdullah Ay.
The meeting addressed the association's work in Somalia in the fields of humanitarian relief, education, health, water and sanitation, food security, orphan care and sustainable development.
Turkish Red Crescent continues its aid
In a related development, the embassy announced that the Turkish Red Crescent continues to provide humanitarian aid to people in need in Somalia.
The embassy affirmed that Turkish civil society organizations and Turkish donors continue to support Somalia in all fields.
