After acquiring platforms like TrendyolGo, GetirYemek, GetirSu, GetirÇarşı, and Getir Market in Turkey, Uber is preparing to increase its offer to fully acquire Delivery Hero, the German company that owns Yemeksepeti. According to a Financial Times report citing three sources, one of Delivery Hero’s major shareholders rejected Uber’s current offer, which values the company at over 11.5 billion euros. Following this development, Uber is expected to raise its bid. The company reportedly offered major shareholders 38 euros per share, representing a 15.3% premium over Friday’s closing price. If the acquisition is completed, Yemeksepeti will indirectly come under Uber’s control, creating a significant presence in Turkey’s food delivery and quick commerce sectors.
