Palestine’s official news agency WAFA said harvested olives were stolen from Palestinian-owned land in the West Bank. The agency said the incident occurred in the plain east of Muğayyir village.
WAFA said a group of Israeli settlers entered the land and took olives collected by Palestinian farmers. It was alleged that the incident took place under the protection of Israeli forces.
Attacks on farmers increased during the harvest season
WAFA said attacks on Palestinian farmers increased with the olive harvest, which began in early October. The agency said the attacks were carried out by the Israeli army and Israeli settlers.

The agency said Palestinian farmers were beaten, barred from entering their olive groves and had their produce stolen. It also said some olive trees were uprooted or set on fire.
