Commander of the Iranian Navy, Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, expressed that the recent military attack conducted by the US and its allies against Iran has failed and that the enemy's assumption of victory has now become a subject of mockery in military academies. Irani stated that Iran has closed the strategically important Strait of Hormuz to enemies and allies and has tightly controlled maritime traffic in the region. The commander emphasized that Iran will respond quickly and effectively operationally in this area. Additionally, he said that Iran will soon respond with a new weapon that the enemy fears greatly and that is on their side. The Iranian Navy recently carried out seven missile operations targeting the US Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier and conducted approximately 100 wave retaliation operations. These operations significantly restricted US air and naval activities in the region. Rear Admiral Irani noted that the enemy's expectation to achieve their desired results quickly did not materialize and that this assumption has now become a subject of mockery in military circles.
