Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi expressed that Japan values maintaining friendly and stable relations with Iran. Takaichi requested the safe passage of Japanese ships through the Strait of Hormuz and shared hope for the resumption of negotiations between Iran and the US and reaching a lasting agreement.
