The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the death toll from Israeli attacks in Gaza has risen to 73,041 and the number of injured to 173,402.
The ministry's daily statistical report stated that 2 new martyrs and 14 injured people reached hospitals in Gaza in the last 24 hours.
It was recorded that the Israeli army has killed 1,029 Palestinians and wounded 3,294 since the ceasefire reached on October 10.
The Health Ministry emphasized that many martyrs still lie under the rubble and on the roads, and that ambulance and civil defense teams cannot reach them.
In addition to the martyrs, most of whom are children and women, Israel has destroyed 90% of the infrastructure in the region. The United Nations has estimated the reconstruction cost at approximately $70 billion.
Israel continues to block the entry of previously agreed-upon food, medical supplies, shelter equipment and prefabricated homes into Gaza. In the area, home to some 2.4 million Palestinians, 1.5 million people have been displaced and conditions are catastrophic.
Israel was established on territories occupied by armed Zionist gangs in 1948. During this process, at least 750,000 Palestinians were displaced and massacres took place. The Tel Aviv administration rejects the withdrawal stipulated in UN resolutions and the establishment of a Palestinian state.
