Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made important statements at the Jerusalem meeting held in Amman, the capital of Jordan. Fidan stated that Israel is not implementing and is blocking the peace plan, and stressed that the international community must take a clear stance against Israel's expansionist policies.
Fidan said that Turkey considers Al-Aqsa Mosque among its sacred values. Therefore, he stated that any attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque will be considered an attack on the Turkish nation's values.
Reminding that Egypt, Turkey, Qatar and the US are continuing mediation efforts on a 24-hour basis, Fidan concluded: "It must be documented that at every stage where progress is made, Israel fabricates a new excuse to continue killing Palestinian children and bombing hospitals. This proves that Israel has no will for peace, and the international community must take a clear stance on this issue."
