Houthi leader: Saudi actions against Yemen were under US, Israeli supervision

Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi accused Saudi Arabia of serving Israel, claiming all of its actions against Yemen since 2015 were carried out under U.S. and Israeli supervision.

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Houthi movement, said in a speech that "Saudi Arabia did all this to serve Israel."

He claimed the Saudi-led operation launched in 2015 was conducted under U.S. supervision and that all of the kingdom’s actions against the Yemeni people were under the supervision of the United States and Israel and in their interest. He also asserted that Washington had acknowledged its officers were present in Saudi Arabia and directing operations.

"They gave Saudi Arabia every kind of bomb and every kind of aircraft," he said. His remarks came as Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces launched a ground offensive to retake Houthi-held areas and the Houthis claimed attacks on Saudi territory.
