Manhattan’s streets filled with Palestinian flags as thousands joined a solidarity march on the third anniversary of the events of Oct. 7, 2023.
Setting off from around New York City Hall in Lower Manhattan, marchers passed Wall Street, Washington Square Park and Union Square before reaching Madison Square Park in the evening, where organizers called on them to disperse.

In Union Square, hundreds of protesters surrounded a memorial held by the left-wing group Israelis for Peace and jeered Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who attended, as a "traitor." The ceremony was moved to a nearby spot ringed by police barricades.
