Trabzonspor fans raised giant Palestinian and East Turkestan flags in the stands at Papara Park on Sunday before their team's Turkish Super Lig match against Gaziantep in the 10th round.
“One heart against injustice”
The fans displayed banners reading “One heart against injustice” and “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” expressing solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and Uyghur Turks in East Turkestan while drawing attention to the human rights violations they face.
Victory on the pitch
Trabzonspor won the match 2-0, securing its seventh league victory of the season.
Trabzonspor supporters are known for their support of the Palestinian cause and have previously displayed flags and large banners in solidarity with Palestine at other matches.
