Türkiye's Ambassador to Qatar Yakup Caymazoglu received the director and staff of Turkish Airlines' Qatar office at the embassy in Doha. He also received İlhami Giray Şahin, vice president of the Communications Department of Türkiye's Presidency.
Türkiye's Ambassador to Qatar Yakup Caymazoglu received Yasin Bakaroglu, director of Turkish Airlines' Qatar office, accompanied by office staff, at the Turkish Embassy in Doha on Sunday.
A photograph released by the embassy showed the meeting in the reception hall, where the ambassador sat with his guests, while the Turkish and Qatari flags stood on a small table at the front of the hall.
Visit by a Communications Department official
In a separate meeting, Caymazoglu received İlhami Giray Şahin, vice president of the Communications Department of Türkiye's Presidency, who is visiting Qatar, at the embassy. The two officials posed for a commemorative photograph in front of the emblem of the Republic of Türkiye and the Turkish flag. The embassy did not provide further details about the substance of the two meetings.
Continued embassy activity
The embassy published reports on both meetings in Turkish and Arabic. Earlier, Ambassador Caymazoglu attended a ceremony at the Turkish school in Qatar marking the anniversary of the founding of the Republic, where students' drawings of Atatürk and the Turkish flag were displayed.
