Turkish Embassy and Qatar-Turkish School plant seedlings during Qatar Sustainability Week
The Turkish Embassy in Doha and the Qatar-Turkish School took part in Qatar Sustainability Week, organized by Qatar’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in cooperation with the Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future, by planting seedlings in the embassy garden and the school grounds.
The Turkish Embassy in Doha and the Qatar-Turkish School took part in Qatar Sustainability Week by planting seedlings in the embassy garden and on the school grounds. The week is organized jointly by Qatar’s Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and the Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future.
Students from the Qatar-Turkish School, wearing their school uniforms, planted the seedlings alongside their teachers and embassy staff. The embassy said in a post on its official account: “We thank everyone who contributed to this meaningful event and hope that the seedlings we planted will keep our brotherhood and environmental awareness alive.”
Earlier in November, the Qatar-Turkish School organized an exhibition of its students’ drawings about Atatürk and the Turkish flag to mark the anniversary of the founding of the republic.
