The Turkish-Iraqi Business Council delegation affiliated with Türkiye’s Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) continued its tour of Iraq with a visit to the city of Kirkuk, accompanied by the Turkish Embassy in Baghdad, following its stop in Erbil.
The delegation met State Minister and Iraqi Turkmen Front Chairman Mohammed Samaan Agha Oglu, as well as officials from the Kirkuk Governorate administration.

Meeting with the Kirkuk Chamber of Commerce
The delegation took part in a roundtable meeting and business lunch between the Turkish-Iraqi Business Council and the Kirkuk Chamber of Commerce, hosted by Agha Oglu. The meeting addressed opportunities for cooperation and investment in the economic and trade relations between the two countries.
Visit to the Turkmen Front headquarters
The embassy also visited the Iraqi Turkmen Front, where it met with Agha Oglu and members of the front’s political bureau.
Kirkuk, an oil-rich city in northern Iraq, has a large Turkmen community and is considered one of the key centers of economic cooperation between Türkiye and Iraq.
