Turkish missions in Doha, Jerusalem and Tripoli mark Republic anniversary
The Turkish Embassy in Doha, the Consulate General in Jerusalem and the Embassy in Tripoli marked the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye in the presence of guests and Turkish citizens.
Turkish diplomatic missions in Doha, Jerusalem and Tripoli marked the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye, which falls on October 29.
In the Qatari capital, the Turkish Embassy hosted a reception attended by senior guests and representatives of diplomatic missions. The event featured musical performances, while the embassy building was illuminated with the Turkish flag.
In Jerusalem, the Turkish Consulate General marked the occasion with Turkish citizens and published photos from the celebration.
In the Libyan capital, Tripoli, the Turkish Embassy said it was celebrating with pride the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic, commemorating the martyrs and veterans, foremost among them Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms.
The embassy added that Türkiye, under President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, "grows more confident and stronger every day."
Turkish embassies in Kuwait, Algeria and Tehran had also marked the occasion with the participation of ministers from those countries.
